    The Practice of Democracy: An Immersive Experience was activated through a series of preview pop-ups that demonstrated its adaptability, public resonance, and ability to deepen civic engagement across diverse communities. From transforming the High Line into a civic forum to anchoring dialogues on architecture, equity, and the built environment at the National Building Museum, and later traveling through community venues across Connecticut, the experience invited thousands to explore justice, place, and shared responsibility.

    The multi-site activation earned major recognition, including the 2024 American Association of State and Local History Award of Excellence and the Connecticut League of Museums Award of Merit, affirming its impact as a powerful tool for connecting historical insight to contemporary civic practice.
